Leg one of my journey is complete: four hour drive to Anchorage was filled with stunning scenery and good company. I got to the airport, made it through security, picked up a coconut steamer, busted out my pillow, cracked the spine on my latest read, Red Square, and settled in at gate C5. Bring it on, 3 days of travel!
